Coaching Opportunity In Twickenham 06 May 2009 St Marys University in Twickenham are looking for a minimum Level 2 coach to train their 3/4 teams every Monday from 6-8 at the University. Three of the teams are in the BUCS league and they are looking for a coach to start mid September, rate of pay to be discussed with the University. BEGINNING OF SEASON RALLY RESULTS 07 September 2008 In a thrilling semi finial that ultimately was decided by a 'golden goal' Grasshoppers B were victorious over their club colleages, Grasshoppers A, in a 12-11 win. The other semi saw Old Actonians A battle through with a 8-2 win over Poly. There was all to play for in the Old Actonians A v Grasshoppers B final. Both attacking ends were lacking shooting accuracy as the game began, but both were on target quite quickly. A 5-3 lead by Old Actonians A, was quickly whittled away in the second half, however Old Actonians defended their lead and were victorious with a 7-6 win. Many thanks to all who took part - a big thank you to all the umpires who helped with timing and the smooth running of the competition. The Forums will give you the opportunity to ask questions to enable you to ensure effective implementation both as players and umpires. We expect that the new Rules Book (2007 edition) will be available to purchase on the evening.
