Acton Netball League is probably one of the longest running female netball leagues in London. Currently there are 2 divisions each with 7 teams. Games are played at weekends between September and April at a central venue. New teams are very welcome, as long as you are able to commit to playing in a competitive, positive netball league. We look forward to welcoming you.

We would like to welcome the new teams that have joined the league and wish all players luck in the forthcoming 2008/09 season. The AGM was held on 1 September 08 and there was a healthy discussion and subsequent rule update about the qualifications that umpires must hold to umpire in the league. The rules have been updated, as voted on in the AGM and are available to download from the forms page. There are also new results forms, now available to download also from the forms page.
Well done to Old Actonians A who were winners of the Beginning of Season Rally held on Sunday 7 September, over Grasshoppers B. There is a match report on the Notices page. Click here to download results.

If you are looking for a new club why not have a browse in our club database to find one near you. Most clubs have training on a weekday evening at various locations in and around London. Women and girls of all ages play in our league, so if you have not played for a while, get in touch with a couple of clubs and get involved. Netball is a great way of keeping fit and meeting new people. There are loads of new (and not so new) mums playing in teams alongside girls of 19 and 20.
